How to Spot A Possible Featured Image
- The most important thing to ensure the image has is good contrast. This means no blurring or unnatural colour exposure (no light source on the image that shouldn't be there). Blurred or slightly pixelated images will not even be considered for featured status.
- The subject of the image must be completely in focus, and undisturbed by unrelated elements.
- Good colour contrast, meaning no conflicting colours, is also a must.
- Ordinarily, the human eye can perceive what it likes and know that an image is of high quality. Eyes are therefore the most reliable way of finding a Featured Image.
