Biographical Information

Jamis lies dead at Paul's hand.

A Fremen of Arrakis, Jamis was a foolhardy youth who got himself into a duel with Paul Atreides and was killed. He challenged Paul after the boy shamed and injured him during an encounter with a group of Fremen, including Stilgar. Jamis waited until they had returned to Sietch Tabr before issuing his challenge, so that all could watch his "victory". His wife, Harah, became the property of Paul after their duel, as did his children. Jamis body was then sent to the deathstill, and his water, after it had been extracted from his body, was given to Paul by right.
